Use, but Don’t Abuse Your Shoulder

I see many people who abuse their shoulder. They get shoulder pain, and then keep on beating it up! The number of tennis players, golfers, and baseball players who I see that get shoulder pain, and then keep playing the sport which is giving them pain.

Its great to use the shoulder to maintain mobility, and to stop those shoulder muscles atrophying, but if you over-use your shoulder you will simply weaken it, and prolong the agony. Avoid sudden movements which will give that “catching feeling”. Give your shoulder the time it needs to get better.
