Acupuncture for Shoulder Relief

0

Acupuncture is a Chinese system of medicine which focuses on improving the flow of energy (Qi) in the body. It helps unblock the meridians and hence balances the body’s yin and yang. Acupuncture has been around for 3000 years, and is used by millions of people over the world.

However, what you probably didn’t realise is that physios and osteopaths in the UK use acupuncture to numb pain! By putting a needle into trigger points in the shoulder, it literally switches off the nerves around the area, and numbs the pain. I use acupuncture and have had dozens of successes by using needles to numb pain. It is like taking an aspirin and putting it right where it hurts – brilliant for reducing swelling and inflammation.
