Shoulder-Hand Syndrome


Shoulder-hand syndrome is rare and effects women more frequently than men. Shoulder-hand syndrome symtoms include burning sensation in the arms or legs, thickened nails, dry skin, sweating, and weakness in the muscles.

Shoulder-hand syndrome often occurs after suffering an injury or when nerve fibers have been damaged.

Shoulder-hand syndrome treatment include anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids and  ointments to relieve irritation. Physical therapy will also help to maintain the movement of the which is very important.
