Rotator Cuff Surgery
In many cases, non-surgical treatments are efective in treating rotator cuff disorders. There are several options open for the treatment of rotator cuff including use of a sling for the affected arm, painkillers to relieve pain and inflammation, or steroid injections. Your doctor may advise complete rest or limited activity and gradual strengthening of the affected shoulder by exercises and physical therapy.
Only if non-invasive treatments fail Rotator Cuff Surgery may be required. Rotator cuff surgery usually takes place under a general anesthetic.
